Yes, all packages include insurance on your packages up to the value of the purchase price.

Your items are new, why are they so inexpensive for SCBA gear?
These are are new, unused. They are dated around 1999, so they are not newly manufactured, they are new, OLD STOCK. These were purchased as state surplus from a local government agency. Many items they sell, such as these are never used but are required for safety reasons to provide them in case of emergency. Each of the units aside from the cylinders bearing mild scratches or light wear, are new with tags, often times includes user manuals etc.

Why do you suggest having items inspected before use?
As with any item of this nature. Although they are new, because they are new, old stock, we suggest having them inspected. For your safety! This is not purchased direct new from the manufacturer, these are NEW, UNUSED, OLD STOCK. Basically this means, they were purchased for use by a Local Government Agency, remained unused and sold through surplus.

My item arrived damaged...what do I do?
All items are covered by insurance. Any damaged items will be covered by the courier. We safely package each item to arrive as shipped it. In new condition.

What is your return policy?
All item numbers, serial numbers, model numbers are recorded within the description of the item you purchased. Due to the nature of the items we are selling, please make sure you read the description of each item you purchase. The only time a return is accepted is for some reason we accidentally sent you the wrong item. (due to specifically detail oriented inventory, this will not happen).

How do you determine shipping and handling cost?
Shipping will vary greatly depending on your location. Because we do not accept Paypal, shipping and handling cost are significantly lower, as we have lower overhead cost. And we are able to pass those savings along to you. We typically ship these items in its original case with internal items wrapped in bubble wrap to keep items from damaging in shipment.

What is your privacy policy?
Unless we are required by law or court order. We do not release any information about you, your company or anyone purchasing from us. Your privacy is important to us and we do not sell your information. Period.

How do I track my shipment?
All shipments will have a tracking number. Once your package has been shipped, you will be emailed the tracking information with the expected delivery date. Should you have any questions, you are welcome to contact us at any time via phone or email.

I won't be home for delivery, what do I do?
We can handle this in one of two ways. We can require that the package needs a signature to be accepted. (So they will not leave a package on your doorstep, they can redeliver when you are home). Or you can make arrangements for Fedex to drop it with a neighbor, friend, etc.

When should I expect my delivery?
Because we do not accept Paypal, this can be a variety of answers. The moment your payment is received you are notified. Depending on your method of payment, via check or money order will depend on the time frame of your shipment. All check payments must clear the bank before your shipments will be made. Delivery time from date of shipment greatly depends on your location. California shipments generally take about 6 days. States closer to us, Virginia, Ohio, South Carolina, etc, will receive in as little as 2-3 days.

Do you offer a warranty?
Due to the nature of the items, we do not offer a warranty, neither expressed or implied. These items are sold as is, as described, as shown. It is the buyers responsibility to have them inspected before use for proper function.

Do you ship internationally?
This can often be tricky, as some countries have limitations as to what types of items can be imported. We gladly will ship to any country with allowance of such items. Shipping cost, customs fees, etc are sole responsibility of the buyer.

You offer Fedex Ground as shipment...any other methods?
We typically use Fedex Ground. At times we have customers requesting faster methods. Due to the size of the items, as well as weight..... shipment by other means, may be extremely expensive. We will ship any method you pay for.

How will my item be shipped?
Each shipment will be made through Fedex Ground. We provide the tracking number to each of our customers. Insurance is also included, up to the full value of your purchase amount.

Are your items new or used?
The SCBA Equipment is new, unused. While some of the cylinders have some scratches and wear on some of the labels, they are new. The scratches and wear is from movement in the storage cases. Each have the new rubber smell to them, and all equipment either have tags still attached, most include user/instruction manuals.

Why don't you allow Paypal payments?
We dealt with Paypal, whom provided our Credit Card online payment service for 8 years. During that time, we have had some unscrupulous buyers making false claims to which Paypal would not uphold to our seller protection policy. Shipping with delivery confirmation (proof of delivery) items shown as delivered, buyers claim to have not received item and Paypal provides their money back. We do not believe in dealing with fraud. We have integrity and wish to deal with those with integrity as well. eBay and Paypal have moved online transactions to a new level of fraud at highest peak. While we understand making an online payment is simply more convenient, it is too risky for our business.
